Concrete Admixture Tank Supplier for OEM and Bulk Programs
Bailiff Enterprises, Inc. is a concrete admixture tank supplier for admixture manufacturers, dispensing system OEMs, ready-mix producers and national purchasing teams. We manufacture HDPE admixture tanks in Willis, Texas, and ship full truckloads. Admixture tanks are a core product line for Bailiff. This page covers how a manufacturer-direct supply program works. For the general product overview, see our concrete admixture storage tank page.
Concrete admixture tank supplier: who buys directly from the manufacturer?
- Admixture manufacturers placing branded tanks at customer plants
- Dispensing system OEMs that need tanks matched to their pumps and meters
- Ready-mix producers standardizing tanks across many plants
- Purchasing teams buying for a region or the whole country
Standard admixture tank sizes
| Capacity | Approximate diameter | Approximate height | Per 40-ft trailer (single size) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 550 gallons | 46 in. | 83 in. | 20 tanks |
| 1,000 gallons | 60 in. | 90 in. | 8 tanks |
| 1,550 gallons | 64 in. | 125 in. | 7 tanks |
Mixed loads also work. Examples: five 1,550s and six 550s, five 1,000s and six 550s, or four 1,550s, three 1,000s and two 550s. Trailer counts are Bailiff’s planning figures; the loading and securement plan is confirmed for each shipment. Other sizes, including 800 and 2,000 gallons, are available. Dimensions are confirmed on the approval drawing.
How a Bailiff supply program works
- Approve one configuration. We agree on size, specific gravity, fitting schedule and labels. You sign off on a PDF approval drawing.
- Lock it in. That approved layout becomes your standard. Repeat orders follow the approved configuration unless you approve a change.
- Order by the truckload or by the tank. Full trailers can lower freight cost per tank, depending on loading and destination.
- Ship. Orders ship FOB Willis, Texas. Bailiff can coordinate freight with our carriers.
Lead time is confirmed on each quote and depends on current stock, fittings and order quantity.
Built for admixture service
- Material: HDPE, made from Dow RESILITY™ DPDB-3220 NT 7. Natural-color HDPE lets operators see the level. HDPE is the standard material for most water-based admixtures; send the SDS and we will confirm.
- Specific gravity: standard tanks are rated 1.9 SG. 1.5 SG tanks are available for lighter admixtures. Give us your heaviest product’s SG.
- Fittings: stainless steel bulkhead fittings are common. Fitting size and placement are set to your dispensing system and shown on the approval drawing.
- Testing: every tank is water-tested before it ships. Upright HDPE tanks are manufactured to ASTM D1998 where it applies.
- Containment: containment basins and double-wall tanks are available for plants that need them.
Installation tip that prevents cracks
Connect admixture tanks with flexible hose or flexible connectors, not rigid pipe. Rigid piping transfers pump vibration and thermal movement into the tank wall and fittings. Set the tank on a flat, fully supported base. Soft piping is one of the simplest ways to make a tank last.
Planning a national program
Bailiff runs its own rotomolding ovens and fabrication shop in Willis, Texas. Tell us your annual volume by size and we will plan production around it.

Frequently asked questions
Can Bailiff make the same admixture tank for every order?
Yes. Once you approve a configuration, it becomes your standard for repeat orders unless you approve a change.
How many admixture tanks fit on a truck?
Bailiff plans 20 of the 550-gallon tanks, 8 of the 1,000-gallon tanks or 7 of the 1,550-gallon tanks per 40-foot trailer. Mixed loads are also common.
What specific gravity should an admixture tank be?
Bailiff’s standard is 1.9 SG. Lighter products may use 1.5 SG tanks. Base it on your heaviest admixture.
Why do admixture tanks crack?
The most common causes we see are rigid hard-piping to the tank and poor installation support. Use flexible connections and a flat, fully supported base.
Do you ship outside Texas?
Yes. Tanks ship FOB Willis, Texas, and freight is quoted separately.
